Circular Economy School
2026

The Circular Economy School (CES) is a programme in Park Royal, north-west London, where local young people learn how to make sustainable products from waste materials, and gain real skills they need for careers in the circular economy.

The identity uses ‘reclaimed’ arrows from a Google search and images of arrows found around Park Royal.

The Circular Economy School is run by Absolute Beginners, Recollective and Rescued Clay.

The CES run various events. The iteration of the logo below is the for Circular Economy Dinner (CED). The general idea behind the logo is to take a very utilitarian sans serif typeface, one that might typically be for an exam board or back of a school book (something authoritative and generally boring), and then be quite cheeky with it. There is something very wrong about using low resolution ‘reclaimed’ clip art graphics with the background checker board still visible, but it’s ok just this once…
